Tips and tricks to optimise the audio quality
Microphone Distance
Keep the microphone as closely to you and your client as possible
Most advisers use the microphone on their phone or laptop, and the feedback around output quality has been positive
Some advisers have purchased a separate microphone to capture the audio, however this is not a requirement to achieve good quality output
Internet Connection
Ensure a good internet connection where possible (i.e. use Wi-Fi if poor internet connection)
If internet connection is poor, we recommend recording your meeting use a 'voice memo' on your phone. You can then follow the instructions on how to upload non-Teams recordings into Teams
Using Teams or Zoom App for In Person Meetings
For in person meetings, ensure you are not on mute and that headphones are not connected to your microphone to ensure the audio is picked up
