How to Upload a Non-Teams Recording (using Microsoft Teams app on Phone)

This article explains how to upload a non-Teams recording using your Microsoft Teams app on your Phone.  We support the following audio files: wav, mp4, m4a, mp3, wma formats. Examples of audio files include iPhone call recordings and dictaphone recordings.

Filenote.ai will automatically retrieve audio files uploaded and generate your artefacts.  

Please note: you can upload multiple audio files at once into the same meeting. Filenote.ai will retrieve the audio files(s) and generate separate file note for each audio file uploaded.

Step 1: Log on to Microsoft Teams App on Phone

Step 2: Go to 'Calendar'

Step 3: To create a new meeting, select Video Recording Icon, and Click ‘Meet Now’.

Step 4: If required, rename the meeting using appropriate key words to trigger the correct artefacts

Step 5: Select 'Join Now'

Step 6: Click the 3 dots and go to 'Chat'

Step 7: Press '+' and select 'Attach' to attach the audio file(s) from 'This Device'

Step 8: Select your audio file(s) and press 'Open'

Step 9: Press 'Send'

Step 7: Select 'End the Meeting for all' to leave the meeting
