Microsoft Teams The Start Recording button is greyed out in Teams on my desktop

If your 'Start Recording' button is greyed out in Microsoft Teams, we recommend you checking the following to resolve the issue:

• Your Microsoft 365 license is a personal license. The minimum plan level required to enable you to record your meetings is 'Microsoft 365 Business Basic'
• The recording function has been disabled at a tenant level. If this is the case, you can ask your IT/admin account to enable this setting on their end. This setting can be changed by selecting ‘Allow Cloud recording’ in the Teams Admin centre.
